This insurance product is mainly designed for the insurance of a set of movable items comprising household equipment and furnishings which are used in home.

Movable items covered by this insurance include:

  • money, duty stamps and securities
  • valuables
  • objects of artistic, historical, specific, religious or sentimental value, antiques
  • bicycles
  • computer technology and audiovisual devices including antenna systems, cameras, filming and optical devices and other electronic devices
  • pets

You can choose from two types of cover, depending on the scope:

Apart from property damages this insurance also covers subsequent costs (e.g. overheads accrued in removing damaged items, apartment clean-up or drying costs, alternative accommodation costs).

Basic cover can be additionally extended to include insurance of:

  • household members’ third party liability
  • electric motors against short circuit
  • washing machines and dishwashers machinery breakdown
  • fixtures and fittings cover

Household members’ third party liability insurance will protect you from expenses related to the settlement of damages you can cause namely bodily injury or material damage to others during your day-to-day activities.
